For those of you following the "all CATS" Charity Custom Dunny Series (put together by Tim Munz in participation with 5 other amazing artists), half of the limited edition prints will be up for sale today over at our shop at 12 noon PST! And for those of  you who haven't been following the series, well, here's your chance to get acquainted and help support a good cause by scoring some dope PAUSE (see what I did just there?!?). All proceeds will go towards helping Maggy (a once stray kitty who has found a good home with Tim and his girlfriend) in her recovery. Plus, for every print you buy you'll be entered to win a free blind box from the series, or a super limited laser engraved version of the "Breakfast at Maggy's" print on wood! The wood print is absolutely beautiful and is not for sale, so this is your only chance for scoring one! And at only $12 bux a pop, it's a win win situation ;)

PAUSE! is at it again. This time they have taken their Chainsaw Panda character off paper and brought it into the 3D world by using an 8" Dunny as their canvas! Now I usually don't like to throw the words, "@#$!%& awesome!" around, but this is in fact, @#$*%^! awesome! And if you're wondering if this violent little bastard is available for sale, the answer is no (sorry!). This was made for a private collector and shall be making it's way across the Atlantic very soon. For more pictures and details check out this link which will shoot you on over to the Kidrobot boards!

Tim and a few other MW artists (among others) have gotten together to help an injured cat that Tim and his girlfriend found in their backyard a few weeks ago. The cat was in so much pain due to a serious injury to her back and was rushed to the vet the very next day. Luckily they were able to perform a surgery which saved her life, but it left Tim with a hefty bill. So after putting together an amazing line up, we bring you the "all CATS" Custom Dunny Series! Every cent will go to making sure Maggy the cat get's proper medical treatment, has a roof under her head, and food in her belly :)  Check out out more about the series and the down right mind blowing line up (including names like Betso, runDMB, Map-Map, and more) on the Kidrobot Boards!

Thank you for all your support!

Tearing up campsites, crapping in your bird feeder, and knocking down your snowmen, this angry Yeti is far from friendly, but what a magnificent bastard he is! Originally this was an 8" Dunny (yea, I know, right), but he can get away with passing off as an OG sclupt. PAUSE has definitely killed it (or should I say, brought to life) with yet another dope custom from their design studios all the way in Canada (ey?) ;]  And if you're thinking, "Ok, I need this, where's the bloody purchase link?!?", well, I hate to be the guy to ruin your day but this little fella was a commission for a private collector. Stings just a little bit don't it? But if you stick around you'll have a shot at scoring one of their pieces through MW3, and I gotta say, it's going to be one hell-of-a design! Or you may be able to squeeze on to their commission list (no promises), just hit up their link and you'll be able to find some contact info. Enjoy the pics, compliments of [II] Designs, and you can find more info on the Yeti HERE!

So after a month long hiatus, we're back with a huge grin on our faces! Our very own Sergio Mancini received some very nice recognition on Kidrobot's own online magazine, The Kronikle! In honor of him placing No.1 in the 2012 Munnyworld contest, Ryan the Wheelbarrow (who I should mention will be a part of the already amazing MW3 line up) sat down with Sergio for an in depth Q&A. Check out the full interview here. Congratz Sergio, we know things will only get better from here ;)

So nearly a year later, and after hours of non stop work, Chauskoskis has finally finished his first edition of custom 3" PAW Dunnys (cleverly titled Pawnny) in the seriously ill "Pain" edition! In my opinion, this is the best tribute piece to Coarse that I've ever seen. And I'm sure that those of you who've followed the progress heard some of the controversy behind it, but I'm not going to get into all that noise. Instead I'm going to focus on the dopeness of these customs. Perfect sculpting, perfect proportions, perfect paint job. . .what else can I say? It's f@#!$* perfect! Keep up the great work Chaus, and congratz to you 20 or so lucky fans that got on the list for one of these little guys! You lucky, lucky bastards! ;]

Friday, August 5, 2011

We're moving mountains, calling in favors, reaching back (if you know what I mean). . .whatever it takes to make sure this series brings something new to the table while still keeping in tune with the dopeness we always try to deliver. So keep checking back cuz we promise to have a few more names announced for MW3 in the days to come  ;]

"From the vile minds of Tim Munz & Simon Walter, enjoy your apocalypse. . . "

The mysterious Golden Ticket Dunny for MW2 has final peered it's ugly head, and while under temptation no less. As much as I'd like to think that light will prevail, she's going to need something a little stronger than a carrot to get the job done. And what's with that wristwatch? Somehow, I don't think it's counting down for the next season of "Glee" to premiere. . .

Good luck. .

This is your main source for all things MW so don't forget that ;)  We've even added an option to follow the blog via email! That's right, just look to right of this post and you'll see what I'm talking about. All you gotta do is add your email, click submit, reply to the confirmation email, and you're good to go. Happy birthday to our friend, and fellow MW curator, Tim Munz! ! ! Hope you have a great day, drink a few pints for those of us who can't grab one with you, and I wish you all the best for the future! :D
For those of you over on the KR boards, feel free to drop him a line and wish him all the best!

Sunday, July 3, 2011

In celebration of his birthday my good buddy and fellow MW curator Tim, has put up a few new pieces over at the shop at insanely great prices! But, from what I hear, these prices may not last long, so if you see something you like don't take the risk and grab it while you still can! And keep checking the blog, the Kidrobot boards, and some of the usual places here and there around the 7th for something really amazing that's been in the works for the past few months. . .

SpongeBob is back in Dunny form!
Using a 3" Dunny as a platform for this lovable sea dwelling creature,
add him to your collection before he irks his way back beneath the waves!

Bringing a little humor to the classic "Hello my name is" dunny,
Tim has played around with the order of the words to bring you this lovely little bastard.
Display him next to your other Dunnys, or let em shine on his own, either way, you can't go wrong!

Part of the very popular '09 "Kitchen Project" by Tim Munz and Simon Walter that was featured on the Kidrobot boards, this little guy is now available for purchase. Act quick though cuz he's one of the last original pieces from this awesome project.

Doraemon, the happy time traveling cat is ready for a new home.
No adoption papers needed, simply add him to your cart and wait for him to arrive.

Beware, tis the season, and the "Spring Monster" is on the hunt.
Still devouring his last meal, this vicious little bastard is meant to be observed from a far,
behind a glass case, away from any other Dunnys. . . Don't say I didn't warn you. . .

J3 is a highly radioactive fuel that is so rare that the only supply left in the entire universe was just stolen by none other than Foorakis and his mute minion Tank. Tank was specifically engineered to handle J3 with his hands of steel and his cranial reservoir, so swiping the fuel was a cinch. However, the 2 marauders still fled the scene in a panic – carelessly refueling their ship and not screwing the cap on completely. Having easily outrun the cops, Foorakis was about to steer the ship past earth when it started to lose altitude. The 2 space pirates had no idea what was happening but they were going down and fast. They had never been to earth so they had no idea they were about to crash land in Boulder Colorado... directly into the newly completed National Dunny Archives.

Foorakis and Tank are a set and will be $250.00 usd. Packaged in their custom cruiser, never to be made again. Available tomorrow, July 1 at the Most Wanted store: [SOLD OUT]
at an undisclosed time. Who knows when they will show themselves....but I bet following me on Twitter would help: @Nikejerk.

What Foorakis and Tank didn't anticipate was how the J3 would effect its surroundings... being highly radioactive. They survived the crash only to find themselves in some kind of museum... there were little, plastic rabbits everywhere...and the J3 was all over them. There's no telling how these... rabbits will react.

Mutations. A new custom series by Nikejerk available only at SDCC 2011. More info to come including full reveals, a custom giveaway and a possible pre-order for pickup.

On July 1st, Nikejerk will be dropping an exclusive custom Mini Munny 2 piece set over at the shop that will coincide with a very special series Jared will be releasing at SDCC titled, "Mutations." This will be a custom series for the history books. It will be something that has truly never been done before, no BS. Plus as most of you know his commission list runs pretty deep, and he rarely drops exclusives like this, so mark your calenders and set your alarms, cuz you're not going to want to miss out on this set. And to add a little more excitement [like that's necessary], he will be giving away one of the first pieces from his "Mutations" series in conjunction with a very well known toy & art blog next Friday. We'll have all the specifics on that and everything else later on tonight, but for the meanwhile, here's what Jared had to say about his upcoming series:

"I'm dropping a very progressive series that has never been touched upon before and will be appearing at SDCC for the first time guerilla booth, no reps...just me and my toys and you'll need to find me to get in on the series. I will be tweeting my location at all times and updating through Facebook. All the specifics to come with the official announcement on July 1."

We're trying out a new way of offering up commissions from some of our artists, beginning with David Bishop aka RUNDMB. There were four platforms originally posted, two of which are now sold out, so act quick and head over to the shop before the other two get snatched up ;)

We just added a new item to the shop! The last of Igor Ventura's Artist Proofs from the the very first "Blankies" Artist Series which was released last year. Support the artist directly, and in turn receive a sweet little piece ;)  Here's a bit more info. . .

"This was one of the designs featured on the very first Blankie artist series, brought to you by the folks over at the Aarting collection [a community fueled art collective]. Here are a few links that will get you a little more familiar with both the series and the artist:

Rocking a sweet stache, this water cooler "lobsta" is floating about adding just the right amount of flavor, to your otherwise tasteless water.
Can't afford the real thing? Well just take a swig of this water and you'll swear you're digging in to a fine "lobsta" dinner :)
Out of only 5 Artist Proofs, this little guy is sure to sell out quick. And being one of Igor's first production pieces, this will become a rarity never to be seen again. And did I mention that you get an original sketch by Igor himself with every order? You'll be able to brag to your friends and family about how you have one of his very first production pieces, guaranteed!*

*this is not an actual guarantee. guarantees are non binding through out the universe. Purple monkey dishwasher*

- Each AP comes signed by the artist.
- Only five of these were originally given to the artist, and only 2 remain.
- As an added bonus, you will receive an original sketch by Igor himself!
- Your AP will be shipped direct from the artist [located in Brazil] via first class international with both insurance and tracking, so rest assured that you're little "lobsta" will be safe through it's entire journey!"

We just got word that our very own Sergio Mancini picked up first prize in the latest Munnyworld contest held by Kidrobot, and will have a slot in the 2012 Dunny Series! ! !

Congratz Sergio, I'm glad to see one of the many talented artists from the MW collective getting a shot on a production Dunny Series! I'm sure you have tons of great stuff in the works and that this is just the tip of the iceberg ;)

Here's a bit more direct from the Munnyworld contest page:

Comments from the judges on Sergio's "PROJECT : MUNNY" winning entry:

"There are many aspects to why this piece is so brilliant, both in concept and execution. The clever concept really displays the true form of MUNNY. By taking the idea of "doing it yourself" crossed with a monkey character (inspiration for the platform), the simplicity of the platform is truly respected in this highly controlled custom. The striking execution is spot on and looks like a production piece already. You can tell the artist had his eyes on the prize, and was intent on taking a spot in Dunny Series 2012 when conceiving this design. Who wouldn't want this little guy in their collection. I do!"
Congratulations again bro, can't wait to see what you have in store for us for 2012!

Here's a hellishly awesome piece from Walter "Chauskoskis" Jacott, titled, "Don Diablo". This was done for the recent show, "Cast in Plastic", which was held at Domy Books in Houston, Texas. Featuring over 30 artists, this was definitely one of the stand out pieces from the other already great customs. Straight from his blog, here's what Walter had to say about "Don Diablo". . .

"For the "Cast in plastic show"
Base toy is a Bumrush, designed by Jroo from
I have a bunch of fund doing this piece, it was meant to be for my personal collection but then I was invited to this show by Abe Lincoln Jr and Marie Ung, and since it is a open platform show I decide to finish this guy that has been sitting on my desk unfinished for too long. So here it is... "Don Diablo"

Lucky is the fan who picked this guy up. Truly, one amazing piece, from one amazing artist! Can't wait to see what's next for Walter, I'm sure it'll be yet another stellar custom ;)
